Pine tar was a very popular additive in traditional soaps for centuries as it made the soap medicated, treating many skin irritations. It unfortunately is no longer found easily on store shelves. But here it is once more, in an easy to use form as traditionally found!

This soap is made by Wilson Sundries on a small family farm outside of Irene South Dakota! The soap recipe has been perfected for more than a decade for family use. Demands for the soap by others lead to the creation of Wilson Sundries to make the soap available here for you! In our humble opinion, we believe you will find this to be the best lathering and long lasting real pine tar soap you've ever used!

We want to make a quick note about other pine tar bars claiming 20% pine tar or more. They probably do contain that much pine tar as their bars are very dark, but the truth is, pine tar is no more effective at 20% than at 1% w/w. All you get is a stinky bar that costs more. We use less pine tar, still giving you the same effectiveness, while maintaining a very pleasant scent.

USES:

Lather up and scrub your hair to treat dandruff and itchy scalps.

Use it on your body to relieve itching and inflammation.

Problems with psoriasis or eczema? It helps to manage and relieve such skin conditions.

Pine Tar helps acne as well as it is an antibacterial and anti-fungal soap.

It treats bug bites and is a natural bug repellent.

CARE: The soap is long lasting compared to modern soaps of similar size, but to increase longevity make sure to place the soap in a dry location between use. It will significantly shorten it's lifespan if left wet or sitting in water

This is approximately a 4 oz. bar
