Calendula, more commonly known as Marigold, has a long history of being added to soap thanks to it's anti-inflammatory and skin soothing properties. It used to be used commonly as a food coloring as well in soups, puddings, dumplings, and wine. It's benefets are so wide ranging that it was even once called the poor-man's saffron!
This soap is made by Wilson Sundries on a small family farm outside of Irene South Dakota! The soap recipe has been perfected for more than a decade for family use. Demands for the soap by others lead to the creation of Wilson Sundries to make the soap available here for you! In our humble opinion, we believe you will find this to be the best lathering and long lasting real pine tar soap you've ever used!
USES:
Releaves pain caused from dermatitis
Promotes healing of wounds and relieving diaper rash
Problems with eczema? It helps to sooth such conditions
Will help clear acne
Promotes skin hydration and firmness
It treats bug bites and is a natural bug repellent.
CARE: The soap is long lasting compared to modern soaps of similar size, but to increase longevity make sure to place the soap in a dry location between use. It will significantly shorten it's lifespan if left wet or sitting in water
